About us

CEO Profile
Hi! I’m Sarah Takeda

Born and raised in Japan with American roots,
I speak English, Japanese, and Korean, allowing me to
connect with international customers and truly understand
their needs.

Having personally experienced the challenges of booking
beauty services in a foreign country, I wanted to create a
solution that makes Japanese beauty treatments mor
accessible and stress-free for visitors from around the world.

Why I Started
Valentine
Beauty Japan

Japan has an incredible number of excellent clinics and salons.
But most of them operate fully within the domestic market.
Their calendars are busy, their clients are local, and they have no need to create English websites or market internationally.

As a result, many travelers end up feeling:
• unsure which places are trustworthy
• unable to find information in English
• confused about how to book or what to expect

Even those who are genuinely interested in Japanese beauty often give up.
Not because they don’t want to try—
but because the barriers feel too high during a trip.

On the other side, salons and clinics often want to welcome international guests,
yet worry about counseling, contracts, and aftercare explanations in English.

Someone needed to bridge that gap.
That’s why I created Valentine Beauty Japan.

 My Mission

My mission is simple:

“To eliminate situations where people give up on beauty because of language or information barriers.”

To do that, Valentine focuses on three specific gaps:

1. Language & Consultation
Beauty relies on nuance: design vocabulary, expectations, risk, and aftercare.
When these don’t align, beauty becomes a gamble.

2. Information & Discovery
The best clinics rarely appear online in English.
If you cannot discover good options, you cannot choose them.

3. Reservation Culture
Japan is almost entirely appointment-based.
Without clarity on booking and logistics, many visitors abandon the idea.

Valentine Beauty Japan exists as a beauty concierge to bridge these gaps—
not through volume, but through curation, clarity, and trust.

Who This
Service Is For

This service is for people who want to include
“a small moment for themselves”
within their travels.

• are curious about Japanese skincare and treatments, yet hesitant to book alone
• want to avoid misunderstandings or unwanted results due to language

For them, choosing beauty in Japan shouldn’t feel risky.
It should feel effortless, informed, and aligned with their aesthetic values.

 Customer
 Review

Clients who use Valentine often tell us:

• “I would have never found this clinic on my own.”
• “I understood the menu, risks, and aftercare clearly before deciding.”
• “Next time I come to Japan, I’m planning a beauty day into my trip with you again.”

Beauty becomes a quiet reset within the journey—
not a detour, not a gamble, and not a source of stress.

In Closing

In a world full of information,
We want travelers to experience beauty that feels
intentional and truly worth choosing—
the kind you look back on and think,
“I’m glad I did that while I was in Japan.”

Our  goal is to make Japanese beauty and hospitality
accessible without anxiety, without language barriers,
and without guesswork.
That is the mission I hope to fulfill through Valentine Beauty Japan.
